weird techno pleases me, particularly when accompanied by the eclectic cafe folk you may find at mr spot's. and best of all, it's free.

i've been reading and omg sketching here for a couple hours. i'm looking forward to this band, if their testing noises are any indication of what they'll sound like. most of you out there would probably not like it, but in all honesty, i think your taste in music generally sucks. ha. (just kidding of course...)

tomorrow i have an interview for some gourmet popcorn place on pike maybe a block to three up from the market. i'd like it, but if i get it i am by no means abandoning my job hunt. money in pocket would be nice though.

to get a beer or no? it's four bucks and on top of little food and a large mocha i think it'd be an amazing idea. even though it was very good last time. jittery and empty stomach tipsy isn't the best. plus i just wanna get tipsy and that's no reason to do it since i've done it twice in as many days. like all evening yesterday, covertly drinking gin in public places with a friend and picnicking on fried foods, including delicious death-defying jalapeno poppers. it's the small things in life, as though i've never said that before.

the speakers make me feel all rumbled and pounded and maybe even elevated a bit. i'm hoping their music is as good as their sound check.

but you know, for as long as they've been at it, and the devices they're using, maybe this is the performance. it makes me smile. and now they're packing up? lol. wow, sneak performance. i guess they were playing for half an hour.

i want those fucking amps.

you should see the mustache on the lennon impersonator. wonder if it's intentional. looks like you could spit a dog on them, roast it over the flames, with the eyebrows in a place of perfect safety. there's an old lady, burgundy hair, cherry red lipstick, black black clothing, reeks of incense. witch lady holding a bottle of perfume to conservative twenty something girl with a poof hairdo. dorky barista boy, golf cap, hipsters in vests, gray-haired afro man always without his shirt, practicing tae bo, slightly delirious juggling girl, droopy man in the corner, a slight jack nicholson air about him with his overlarge pinktinted sunglasses. yes, i like this cafe. spiced up version of charlie brown's theme song... it's like a brightly lit and less depressingly aired dive bar from an independently produced movie. what i love best is how everyone mixes.

crooked rainbows, hm.

i even want to write.
