went to work yesterday, they said You wanna mustache? i say, Um, kinda, yeah. so three of us sported fine and distinctive sharpie facial hair for the day. elegant.
today went for a really short hike, then to seattle for a hint of pike place and pioneer square and the art walk that happens the first thursday of every month, and of course the waterfront. epic quests.
ended the evening at B&N, how predictable (it's where my truck was parked so...), and ran into people from places so was there til they closed.
i'm all talked out but i feel like i should put something in here that isn't just a summary of what i've done. make up some bad poetry? sure why not:
lilies with thallium flares
on the oil-slick stillness
beauty rising from the murk
the mud the decaying depths
of rotten fish a forgotten tyre
brilliant lilies for living mires
