Epiphany
I had one just today, and it kinda surprised me, and it took me reading a book to realize it. (It isn't that I like to read books :P ) As a few of you out there know, or most depending on how many of you know me a bit, I like dragons. Blunt statement, right? Well for a good while i've never really thought, in-depth, about a question I have a lot. Most fans of any kind of single animal type have it, after all. It's the question that, "If I was , what kind would I be?" Well I had only thought about it a little and I figured maybe I'd be some sort of firebreather but it took reading this book to find out I was far, far off. IT probably also explains why I've had so much trouble with dragon-like characters in the past, save for one.
It just hit me like a brick wall. The facts were simple.
A) I've always liked things that fly around. Birds especially, but jets, planes, things that can go fairly fast, the things of air and space always made me curious, and the last time I was on a plane going to Flordia, I was very cozy, regardless of coach seats and people I didn't know around.
B) Cold tolerance. I know it's cold, heck it's a friggin blizzard in the east and north east, but in all honesty? The only part that even bugs me is shoveling and driving through it. Other then that, I hardly ever zip whatever jacket i'm wearing and can stand through most of the colder weather we've had.
C) Always have had this thing for getting mad at people like poachers, dragon slayers (Obviously) and people that only think of the now, tearing down forests, drying up swamps for more land, and other such things. It always was irritating to read about things like that. Heck I'm opposed to it in some ways.
What does it all add up to? There's no way in friggin hades that I could ever, if I was at all a dragon of course, be a firebreather. I'd be a Silver. And that revelation was just like, a DUH thing in my head. What book did I read? Dragonlance's Lost Histories IV. It's about Dragons in the first place! >.< I wish I had read this a whole lot earlier and coulda found this out. It also makes me wonder that who out of you reading this may have been able to tell me I'd be a friggin silver. It all makes sense, why Arctic did so much better then Solar on m3 now. He was a coldy and a dragon, and was a darn good reflection of what I'd probably be.
So yeah, a lot of you may not really care about this question, but it just surprised me and I needed to talk about it. Already came up with a name too, makes me wonder if it even sounds right, but the name poped in about an hour or three later. Kelsyner? synar.. sinder,.. I dunno about the tail end of it yet. Maybe some of you people out there can help me out with that, and one other thing. Now that I realized this, I wanna find an artist to draw this picture in my head, and not only that, but give Kel a place to vent so I don't get really crazy IRL and start spouting i'm a dragon and all this other crazy stuff. n.n; If anyone out there cares to help or something, respond, get me on the MU*'s i'm on, anything ya'all feel like.
