Long time No blog...
Well okay, I've been posting most of my blogs on Myspace, but I figured this guy needed some love as well.
Basically I am writing a little mini-end of season update. I have about a week left at the Lake until I leave for college, and this season hasn't been the best for me.
Due to a work-related injury I have been stuck on light duty since the end of July. It stinks because the Doctor wanted to keep me on Light Duty for 3 1/2 weeks...I am trying to get that changed. If you know me, you know that I'm a person who can't deal with being off my feet, not being able to help out. Due to this injury, people in my crew have had to suffer in the nets, for up to 11 hours...YIKES!
Being on light duty, I can only work Dino, Bounty, or the Harbor flats...I WANT TO BE ABLE TO HELP MORE!!!! AHHH!
I've been slowly becoming depressed, first cause was I was working too many hours and hadn't hung out with Christopher in a while. We even missed hanging out on our 9 month anniversary. The second thing that hit me was my lovely ankle injury. The last thing has been me worrying about College. My last day at Geauga Lake is the 11th, and I move in college the 16th....sigh!
Well at least some good has come out of this season...I've made some great new friends, met some cool new people, and loved every minute that I've worked. It's not work though, it's the most awesome thing you can ever do.
Also I will be going to Cedar Point after the season ends at Geauga Lake...
I guess I just have a lot going on right now...shoot most of the season I've had a lot been going on.
Anyhow, I have to go see if I can get back to regular duty before I leave for college....I've been trying for 3 days!
By the way, if you were wondering....I am returning to Geauga Lake next year....that should have been a no brainer though...lol
