Old profile entry
Ok so this post is just so that i have record of a very important piece of thought i put in my AIM profile after the end of my freshman year... I want to remember how i felt and what i had seen and been through in my first year of college... A lot happened and it caused me to look deep within myself... here goes
WOW what can I say... Who knew the first year of college could go this fast? this year has been interesting and a growing up experience for me. It has had its share of ups and downs... from joining a sorority... to dealing with the death of a friend... life certainly has its unexpected ways of hitting you in the face with reality and I have learned that its what you do once you've been hit that matters. Life isnt always fair and it doesnt always make sense... but we learn the all important lesson that we should live each moment to its fullest and never regret anything. Learn from those who did it best... We should try to love more and hate less and just enjoy the time we have here. This is what college is for... its not to just get a degree and make lots of money.. its to form friendships that will last a life time and to deal with grown up situations.. after all we are adults now and we have to live with all the things it comes with... I have wanted on occasion to crawl back into the comforts of childhood so that i wouldnt have to deal with hard issues that cause me to re-examine my life and my heart... But this has been my experience... and as tough as it has been... I am greatful to the people who have been here through it all with me and have helped me to change my outlook on life... Much love to all my friends and family... I truly couldnt have gone through all this without you...
