For the last couple weeks I've been in Edmonton. I've seen the weather go from -36, to 0c in the course of a couple days. All told, the cold here is not so bad, and the snow is much, much easier to drive in than the snow at home.
I've taken a couple courses to be able to get work in the oilfields, and I've had a couple interviews. With some luck I'll get a call soon, and be off working on a rig somewhere.
