I don't know why Joss won't validate that pairing anymore. It iscanon, right? :D He never gives us love for the boys...well, except Larry. And Xander's obvious crush on Spike. :P

No. That sounds horribly cynical. Maybe it was Fox that wouldn't let him? Since Fox still own the characters that hasn't changed.

It might seem cynical, but seeing as Joss spent two issues objectifying Buffy (though this past one did make some great strides toward undoing that damage), it's not far from the truth. I think angearia also has an analysis of male and female nudity in the comics that leans heavily toward the female side (although, to be fair, there are many more females than males), too. IMO, Joss likes the idea of strong female characters, but he's not a feminist. He's just attracted to them. It might not be conscious on his part, but I do think that you're right about Joss. :(

OK...this is another amazing drabble CG. OMG you're on a roll. LOL! Loved this too, I'd give anything to see something like this. Now I'm not sure which one I like better...this or "Destiny".
