Updates and book cover!

*hangs head* I've been away too long again. I left for a week, spent a week dealing with apartment issues so bad that we had to move out, and then was forced to evacuate for another few days...but I'm finally back now, and have many, many fics that are begging to be written. :) I've also started reworking The Rose- hopefully, it shouldn't take more than a few weeks to finish. I mostly intend to do minor tweaking in some places and go into more detail in many others. I'm only replacing the text in the earlier chapters on LJ, so if you'd rather keep track of the new changes and read as though it's a new fic, you can read them on Elysian Fields (where I've deleted the whole fic and am reposting chapter-by-chapter).

Right after I left, ellievanna made this gorgeous book cover for Embers as a challenge for Whedonland. I'm especially loving the mood of the caps she chose, which feel close to Embers in all cases, and the overall look is incredibly professional. :)
