Yowsers it's been a long time!!
Wow...my last entry was Oct. 29 & all that was was a quiz. I could go on for days with everything that's going on and has gone on since then.
The holidays were awesome as usual. Christmas about took it out of us thought, but it was great. We're (Rick & I) not doing anything special for New Year's Eve except staying home, grilling & just being together. Tomorrow, Gary, Amanda, Hannah, Meemaw & Charles are coming over for lunch which will be so awesome. Thennnnnn...Monday, it's back to eating right and back on the treadmill...which brings me to my next point...
I've lost 45 pounds so far!!!!! I've definitely gained a nice 5-7 lbs. over the holidays, but I'll get it off next week. I just feel so great & it's so nice to have to buy new clothes b/c I can't fit into anything I had. I sold a bunch of my clothes on ebay this summer and am kicking myself for it now. Oh well...I've worked really hard & it's definitely paid off.
Well, I guess I suppose I'm one of the last people on Earth to get a Tivo (cox DVR to be exact) & I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! I rent movies every week to watch while I run on the treadmill & this will be better for me so I don't have to rent so much. (My husband can't understand why I can't watch the 300 DVDs we already have, but it doesn't hold your attention if you've already seen it. HA!) Now that I can watch ANYTHING at ANY TIME, I'm loving it!!! I'm getting sucked into reality shows more than I already was. I'm currently sucked into America's Next Top Model and Hogan Knows Best. THENNNNN...I get to catch up on my old time favs...Dr. 90210, Laguna Beach, Dr. Phil, Oprah & Gauntlet II. This brings me to my next news...
Have any of you seen Inked on A & E? Wellllll...one of the tattoo artists at Hart & Hunnington is Rick's daughter Jessica's fiance. Matt is on there every episode now. We are going there hopefully in Feb. & live it up. I love Vegas! We might even get to be on the show!!! (yeah, right) Jess gets to hang out with celebrities quite a bit and I'm fascinated by that (yeah, I'm a celebrity psycho).
My sweet little niece is just so adorable and gets cuter every single day. I just love her to pieces. Amanda & Gary are INCREDIBLE parents and that little girl is going to be so outstanding when she grows up. Her uncle & aunt have her on a pedestal already!!! SHE'S PRECIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
School is still sooooo wonderful! I get to present my physics unit at the national CORE Knowledge conference in Feb. which will be so exciting. It just feels so great to actually want to get up and go to work every day. One more week of vacation will be really nice, though.
Well, I need to get up and get moving. Rick's on vacation and we're going to mess around today...hopefully buy a vegetable steamer, get me some new tennis shoes & go see Fun With Dick and Jane.
