I've learned two important life lessons this week:

1. Kinkos late night employees are the strangest circus freaks you'll ever encounter. I had to go print a large banner for this conference, and ran into this dude who looked like a combination of Littleface from Dick Tracy and an aging Sherlock Holmes, complete with sideburns. In addition to this he moved his head like a woodpecker when he explained to me that they usually don't offer color printing service this late. Wow. And he doesn't even begin to describe the seemingly endless array of Kinkos mutants that I encountered while working for ZincTech. The interesting thing about these people is that had they at some point learned to behave and dress properly, then they would appear to be normal, average individuals. However, there is something about graveyard shifts at that place which seems to have Lovecraftian transformative properties.

2. No matter how much sleep I get, if I have to wake up at 7:30 I'm still tired.
