I am a receptionist. My co-worker covers the front desk when I'm on vacation. She likes to wear slippers instead of shoes when she's running around the office. When I was on vacation last November she left her smelly slippers in a cupboard at my desk. When I came in and found them, I put them in her office. The next day she sent an email to me, cc'd my supervisor and her own, accusing me of stealing her slippers and demanding that I buy her a new pair. My reply was that I had found them in my cupboard, where they did not belong, that I had returned them to her office, and I had no intention of paying for a new pair. She made a huge deal about it for several days until the supervisors finally told her they'd had enough.

Fast forward to yesterday.

She wandered thru the office wearing the slippers that she accused me of stealing.
