REMOVAL!
Oh shit! I totally forgot! I had my braces off last Tuesday. Damn.
It was mostly boring, though I did almost gag when they took impressions for my retainers. The doc used plier thingies to pop the brackets off, which didn't hurt at all; and then a dremel to polish the epoxy off. Then he said "Okay, go brush, but don't look until after you brush because your teeth are all gross right now." Thought that was funny.
I only have to wear the retainers twelve hours a day, which is actually turning out to be more difficult than I thought. I get home SO.FUCKING.LATE most days.
In two months I go back for xrays, and maybe we can drop the number of hours per day that I wear the retainers.
