THE MAN BURNS IN '04
It is official, I am going to Burning Man 2004.I know many of you don't know what that is, so here is a brief description. Burningman is a mix between an extreme camping trip, and a week of expression, freedom, art and humanity. It is a week long art festival in the middle of the desert in Nevada, probably 100-200 miles north east of Reno. There are art instalations, theme camps, and all different types of expression. The only things you get are what you take in, food, water, shelter, etc. There are usually around 35,000 people there at the height of the week. At Burningman, there really are no rules, other than respect others. If you wanted to strip naked, then finger-paint a picture of Jimmy Carter on your ass, and run around yelling "I AM THE EMPEROR OF NO PANTS" people probably wouldn't even look twice. I went last year, and I get to go again this year. MEGA-SWEET!!!!!!

UPDATE: For those of you worried about my last entry, it's okay, I just get that way sometimes. But the day after I wrote that post I kind of hit it off with this girl and loathe the fact that I am here in Corvallis and can't be back in La Grande to pursue a relationship. Oh well... C'est la vie
