This weekend

This week end was great, I went home this weekend for the Lutheran Coronation. It's this big event that happens down in S.A. in which something like 16 high school aged girls are nominated to be in this "court." It can be equated to something like the little "queen of whatever your hometown happens to have a parade for" only much better and much more interesting. This is because the dresses have huge trains that are all kinds of shiny and cool. Not only this but this event involves pages for the younger kids, and the girls later tour several big parades in the area (one being the rose parade) and each court has it's own theme, such as this one's was the court of chivalry. I happen to be friends with the girl who had the dress that symbolized courtly love. Any how this is always really neat to see and I'll post pics soon so that you may oooh and aahhh over the shiny shiny dresses. . . come to think of it Amy will likly have them up soon, as she came down with me. And as she is a devoted photophile she has many pictures. I'm glad I was able to convince her to come with so now some one knows exactly what I'm talking about when I mention this. It was also good to see her again. :)

In other news it was great to see the fam again as I'll be missing out on thanksgiving with them. Luckly Johnathan and Emily invited me to have Thanksgiving with them and their fam, so I don't miss out all together :) mmmmmm. . . lots of food.

Also I'll get to go to an E-walk with Johnathan, as I missed out on mine last year, this is great :)
