Another good artical
This one talks about learning and how the continues learning and innovation is key for a healthy mind.
According to the article you learn in four different ways analytically, procedurally, relationally (or collaboratively) and innovatively. I think I may be analytically and relationally. I think this because I see lots of connections between to subjects and things that bind them together. I like brings many different subjects and point of view together to help explain something. Since I learn when I teach this makes sense. I do look at things analytically as well. I like to take things apart so see basic structure. I may not be that good at either but my hunch goes with those too. I may think I have bits of innovation but I am not sure. Thought the bouts of innovation and creativity may come from trying new things. You become more innovated as you stretch your self( stretching yourself is trying new things out of your confront zone, but you do not stress yourself)
This goes along with the idea of the black swan to not overlook things and do not decide. to decide "is to close off all possibilities other then one" I like this because I like to believe I am one to try new things, no i may have science to back me up.
It calls for when you do figure how you work, rather then force your self to learn in new ways, take the way you learn to learn new things; while you do this, it is ok to feel a bit awkward, this confusion is good. But you may have to keep practicing to truly have the change stay permanent.
What I can take away form this is to keep trying new things, but keep up and practice the things a really want to learn. I would like to work on my reading and writing skill over the summer for college, since I do think the lull starts now, now would be a good time to keep practicing. Thought I should read things I may not normally read, and try to continually find time to try new things. Hopefully this will help to inspire, whicih I believe I work at my best.
