my tarot reading

reflecting on my move to NC:

Like it or not, it's time to leave the past behind -- the familiar structure, belief systems, comforts and defenses -- and venture into the unknown. Use your wits and survival skills to find or create a healthier, more integrated situation. This may mean physical relocation or simply surrendering a comforting, familiar, closed worldview and starting to live a new way.
Learn by doing and do your best; act on your ideas. No one else can rescue you from this imperative; no one else can figure out the correct next move. There is nowhere to go but away from the past. It may feel like a great loss at first but in the future you will be rewarded by considerably more clarity, happiness and peace than you have had.

All around you are people suffering from delusions, claiming that their myths are legitimate and absolute. Battle lines are being drawn. Stay fluid. Refuse to believe that you are sure of anything.

There is a wind sweeping across this card with an agenda of its own, but you have a map (your plan) and a sail (your mind). When using them both, that wind can empower you on your chosen course. Knowing you can depend on your own quick wits and adaptability frees you to see opportunities that might be as invisible as the wind to others.

The full range of possibilities has been exhausted and all the creative energy that is available has already been put to use. This may be a great time to lay down your concerns and enjoy a rest. There is nothing more to bring to the mission unless you regenerate and restore the energy you have put into the cause.

You will come to see that you are not alone, that you are being watched over. What appears to be coincidental good luck may actually be the result of a series of good choices you have made. It's your turn to have things work out. It's time to be blessed and nurtured. Relax in the knowledge that you are in good hands and that you are worthy of receiving this generous embrace
