Things are going pretty well for me here even though this is finals week. Luckily I only have to write a paper (even if it is 10 pages) and study for a quiz for the same class. The paper is my top priority and I still have three days to work on it so I'm not too worried. Even though I'm excited for the semester to end, I'm sad at the same time. My friend Steve is moving to PA for an internship and my friend TJ is moving back to Korea. On top of that, going to Kalamazoo over the weekend made me realize how much I miss my friends who moved there. Next semester is going to be really lonely, I can already tell:(
Ah well, Christmas break should still be awesome. My plan is to go out with my friends, hang out with people I haven't seen in a while, and hang out with a few people that I don't know very well but want to get to know better;). I contemplated working over the break since JCPenny told me I was welcome to come back, but I don't think it's going to happen. For one, I don't want to be at work at 5 am everyday over break, and second, I'm going to Florida from January 1-9 so I don't see the point in only working for two weeks.
In other news, I need some adivce. My task at my internship next semester is to create some type of group. This can be an activity group, or a discussion group, whatever I want. And I can also choose whether I want to work with competent residents, or residents with varying levels of dementia. I'm just kinda at a loss about what to do. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!
