MYTgirl and Miss Florida 2009!
So this weekend we went to the Mall to find my mother in law something for Xmas. Michaela wanted to "dress Christmas-y" so she wore a beautiful black and wine colored dress she got for Xmas last year. Mommy did her hair and she wore her new girlie shoes... she looked gorgeous!
So as we are strolling through Sears, MYT holding Hiros hand as he wanted to dart all over the store, we walked past a very pretty woman wearing a crown and sash. MYT not being very shy, walked up to her and asked her if she was a princess! It happened to be Miss Florida 2009, Rachel Todd.
She crouched down and explained to MYT who she was.. MYT was smiling from ear to ear and told Miss Florida that her crown was beautiful. Miss Floirda asked MYT if she wanted to know what it felt like. Of course MYT nodded yes... and Rachel Todd was so incredibly sweet, she actually unpinned the crown from her head and let Michaela wear it! I though Michaela was going to explode with excitement! I think Michaela still thought Rachel was a princess! (I was just hoping it wouldnt fall off MYTs head!! How do you replace something like THAT!?) After, MYT told her thank you and that she was very pretty. Rachel told Michaela that she was very pretty and told me what a wonderful and beautiful little girl she was. They (Rachel and her mom) had seen MYT walking with her brother and showing him things in the store and they thought it was very cute!
I really thought that was an incredible thing to do, to actually unpin her crown and let some unknown little kid wear it! It really made Michaela's day!
