Okay, so I promised my self I would be writing more often, and look what happened? I forgot ;) But now I'm writing.

Lots of stuff has happened lately, Christina is in London, Camilla and I have bought out tickets to go and visit her, Gina has moved (finally, that sound weird, but it isn't), Monica had moved to CPH and fall term has started.

I talked to Christina today and she is doing good :) She likes the work over there, and showed me pictures of the centre, which I'm SO looking forward to seeing. I really want to somehow see all four of them at some point of my life and this will be my first. And I'll get a day in London on my own, so I'm thinking book stores, Forbidden Planet and maybe the British Museum or Tower. I've never seen any of them. I've been to British Museum, but only to eat, don't even really know why we chose that place. And I was 12 or younger so I don't really remember, but I still have the souvenir I bought there. And Camilla and I have now bought our tickets so that's nice :)

Gina moved. The finally part? Well, I just sorta went around knowing my daily life would change when she moved and it was hard not knowing what would happen and knowing it would. I've had a stomach ache for most of august, had trouble sleeping and I think I might have lost a bit of weight cause I haven't been eating much, no appetite. She has just been such a big part of my day-to-day life that not having her around is really scary. Plus well ...

But on the plus side of all the moving around this summer. Monica has moved to CPH :) Which means I get to see her a lot more, which is nice :) And today she was part of our scout meeting, which was great. She did a really good job. She is really great with the girls. The way she does it, her "style", is very different from what I does, but I would like to learn from her way of doing things, and incorporate it into my own. We have started working on one of the patches coming from WAGGGS, World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. It has some really good material, and it's easy to work with. It is about the MDG's, which I think is an important thing to know about. I don't believe the UN will manage to reach their goal before 2015, which was the plan, but I think they can make some headway and that's good. Having worked with them a bit, in order to be prepared for the meeting today, I have realised what I hope my scouts will realise, that they are really connected. Diminishing poverty and hunger will allow more children to go to school, and having more children going to school will help diminish poverty and hunger. Also education will help stop the spread of some diseases and will limit child death and the numbers of mothers who die in childbirth. And even though I know my scouts most likely will never have to face the conditions that some of the MDG's are there to fight, I still think it is important that they know about them, and that they know what they can do to help. And they want to help, well at least to a certain degree. And I want to encourage them to do what they can to help the rest of the world, help the people that are less fortunate than them, both out in the world and in the own community.
Wow that was some talk... well this is important to me, so it's not really a surprise.

On another note; the fall term has started. So far it's been okay, but I think it might be a long fall. At least I don't have any weekly papers this term, and I think statistics is going to be an okay subject.
