I have an au in my head where Janet was very injured at the end of Heroes, and she and Cam met and became buddies during physical therapy, because Cam was impressed by this fierce little red-haired girl doctor, and Janet was vastly amused by Cam's need to make jokes (not to mention impressed by his determination).

I now have, as part of this au, a mutual love of peach cobbler and an absolute difference of opinion on whose grandmother's recipe is better. :)
