A bunch of punk thugs in hoodies. This is the worst, most highly publicized outbreak of violence, but it's been happening for some time in smaller groups and smaller towns. L. and I have been talking about it for over a year because she's seen it. Such a shame for the innocent - especially in light of the Olympics coming and the possibility they hold for people to make money, but not if folks are afraid to come. Dumb and disappointing. Shame on the thugs and even more shame on their parents for letting them get away with it! The news reports are heartbreaking.

I don't know, I'm trying to work out where I can hand in my citizenship. Apparently it's unfair that people can't just smash their way in to shops and get a new tv. Who knew?
