The median salary for my position according to monster.com is $35k. Well, sorta, it's a position with less responsibility, the next one up median is about $43k.

then she came back with the department manager has a budget and she said she was very firm on the 30k... whatev. I shall see what happens tomorrow. It'd be nice to at least get enough to cover medical, which is a little over $50 a paycheck (bi-weekly).
