WHO: James Bond and Zatanna Zatara-Bond.
WHERE: Mostly London. Maybe Spain, France, and elsewhere.

WHAT: SMASHING YO GRIMDARK AU WITH DOMESTICITY AND HAPPY.

While having a good time go-karting, one does not usually expect the end of the world as they know it.
They'd only been at it for an hour or so when it happened. It consisted mostly of Zatanna crashing into the barriers but still insisting to continue on in some vain hope that she'd magically beat Bond, who, by the time she had gone half a lap had gone around four times.
Then, it happened. She's still focused on trying to go around the circle and he's stopped, jerking her out of the kart and telling her to take them somewhere safe and secluded; her question stops midway as she realizes what is going on. Without hesitation, she does as she's told.
At the beginning, it was a mess. A year or more in utter seclusion, avoiding everyone as they try to gauge the situation (safety first). Then another year of preparation. Give or take a few more years and Zatanna's over that whole 'you slept with Selina,' thing and they become closer, for the better. Carefully, they reemerge and begin to help imPorts -- money, legal documents, whatever's needed.
There is no one she trusts more than James Bond. Their marriage is only legal in the sense that there is a record of it and her I.D. states her last name as his. Zatanna's first name is also different; legally it is "Zoe," though she insists on being called "Zee," in public. She uses her magic as needed, going so far as changing their appearances from time-to-time to go for a walk or out for dinner. Just in case.
The past five years have seen them settling down with thirty or more safe houses scattered about the world, each with their own separate identities. For now, they're in London with two cats and two dogs, occasionally doing something useful or inspiring. Or, you know. Just trolling the hatas.
