I need to get caught up on my writing. My original fiction, if at all possible. But I have such a hard time getting started. So you, the three or four people who read this, are going to inspire me.

Oh, I like that... the language is gruff and really brings out the battle-weary nature of your unnamed character. I like the line at the end, regarding the antagonist's ugly shirt. It just seems right.
It was funny how simply changing the color of something made it more interesting. The Man in White's suit was not unusual, save for being white, and the bright whiteness of it was enough to catch the eye. Had it had been a more ordinary grey, he would have been beneath notice. As it was, everyone noticed when he entered the nightclub, and everyone saw him draw the knife. Of course, it was a big knife, so they might have noticed it even if he'd been wearing grey. Who could tell

The week of her twelfth birthday, Koschei took Delia and her brother to his lakeside estate in Russia. It was, he'd told them in advance, too cold for swimming, but there was a hot spring nearby, and they were thrilled with it. Koschei repeatedly declined to join them in the water on account of his inability to tread it, though Kurt insisted the magician's skull could use a polish in the hot water. Instead he sat by the spring and wondered about the appropriateness of his gift

The inside was as dark and forboding and Delia had imagined, the only light coming from a torch her mentor had lit when they entered. She had known it was going to be underground, of course, but it had surprised her how far. She counted seventy steps before they reached another narrow hallway, and another stone door, which Koschei opened in silence

Had another vision last night. This one was so strange that I'm not sure it wasn't just an ordinary dream, but it was so clear, memorable and frightening that I want to write it down for future reference

I let her drag me until the black becomes grey, becomes white. Evil, burning white that my eyes have never had to deal with (I don't remember the first light until I wake up), and it blinds me again, but only for a moment. Then I become aware of my surrounding, and the living things watching me, attracted by the fight. From the brief glances I get of my own flesh, I am human-shaped. Nothing else is. There are a few not-quite human faces; one of the watchers is one of the six-eyed things from before, and other than being warped to hold four extra eyes and a strong set of jaws, the face is human. But the creature is intangible heat and light forming six burning wings and four arms attached to a body like a Chinese dragon, ending in two more powerful taloned legs instead of a tail. Six eyes, six wings, six limbs. It recoils from me, and suddenly I hate it. I don't fear it at all, I just want to kill the monster so very badly, but not as badly as I want to kill the thing I'm still toying with. She's even uglier to me, and more hated

Wow, that was awesome! Thank you~ I really liked how surreal the descriptions were, and how you kept things vague while managing to convey complex ideas. It would be interesting to find out more about the person who keeps having these visions.
