-Yes friends. This has turned out to be one of my best Christmases yet! First off, Christmas was wonderful. I went to McKinzie's parent's house for Christmas eve and had fantastic food. Her mom makes the world's best fudge. I kid you not! We had fantastic conversation and such. Exchanged gifts and went to her church. The Luthrian church. They are a bit too much on ceremony for my tastes, but growing up Southern Baptist you can understand that I'm sure. And they changed the lyrics of the songs! I found myself a bit off singing as I know the carols to be and everyone else singing similar, but not the same things. At least they had it Noel instead of Nowell. Shirley Hills has it "The First Nowell." Damnedest thing. I couldn't think of a better way to spend Christmas eve. The night was beautiful too. I'm generally not too on the up and up on noticing such things, but it was fantastic. The full moon had a perfect circle around it. Some folks call it a 'moon bow.' It generally means rain.
-After that, I went home and got some sleep. Christmas morning me and Brantley went out to mama's for Christmas. We had to wait till 'bout 3ish for Andrew and Julia(sp?) to get there and we had a feast like none other. Mom really out did herself this year. It was all fantastic. I would be surprised if I ate a napkin if it wouldn't have tasted divine. Then we got to the gift giving. As usual, Beau puts on his grinch slippers and his santa hat and gives out the presents like Santa Clause. It's one of the few pleasures we allow him. It seemed to be a transformer Christmas. Joey got swoop(a dinobot from the 80's) and I got the 20th anniversary Optius Prime(yes McKinzie, I opened it) and the Darth Vader Death Star which kicked my sorry tail! Everyone had a great time. Then at 7:00pm, I took Brantley home and I attended...
-The Team Offender Dinner of '07. It was fantastic. We were a few members short, but it was ok. We remembered them none the less. What is Team Offender? Please refer to my myspace for further reference. We had a great time. I got to see Micah. Don't get to see him too often and it's always good to see him. We hung out for a while.
-Today the Round Oak Enterprises Trio converged upon the Macon mall and had a great time reminiscing . The Round Oak Trio are myself, Mr. Michael David Strickland, Mr. Adrian Kaspar Pritchett, and Mr. Virgil Alvin Shubert. We left there and went to Mcalisters(sp?) and continued to do our walk down memory lane and catching up with each other. It's been about 4 years since such an event has taken place. Can the world hold up? One can only hope. Look for pictures and video on my myspace soon...Love to you all!
