And I stayed in the lab for the entire day on sat with full faith that it will? Through the microscope I saw no signal at all. WHY...

Trying again later I guess. Luckily I still have larvae.
But I think such repeated failures are telling me something - that discipline and meticulous-ness are completely indispensible in conducting successful experiments, or in fact it seems in anything I do at all. Thinking back, when had I ever pulled off being half-hearted while doing something? The consequences invariably came back to me though they never did for some other people (or maybe they did, but I am under the impression some people get lots of stuff by being lucky). Oh wells! Maybe it's just not in my life to enjoy the fruits borne on ungrown trees.
