I've made a list of 10 characters and assigned them all numbers. Ask me questions about them ("Is 3 human?" "Who's smarter, 4 or 5?" "What would 2 and 7 do if they discovered buried treasure?") and I'll answer. Your mission is to discover which character is which.

2? Probably alt rock, just to buck tradition.
3 is fond of loud rock, especially the kind you would have heard at Woodstock.
4 is almost certainly a fan of bubblegum J-Pop.
5 also seems to be into classical.
6 is part of a garage band! ...they aren't very good.
7 would probably enjoy trance, Enigma, Enya... and They Might Be Giants.
8 is a confirmed opera fan.
9 probably likes mandolins, flutes, and the occasional harp.
10 is fine with anything loud and raucous, the better to annoy others.

Okay, 1 and 10 become famous superheroes (or supervillains; whichever is more fitting to their moral axis)-- that means, actual superheroes (Marvel, DC, etc.), not ones that are created by them. Who do they turn into?
Speaking of moral axis, where would you place 2 and 5 in D&D morality terms?

1 would probably be Batman, or maybe the Green Arrow.
10 would be Morph.
2 is Chaotic Good with perhaps some Chaotic Neutral leanings.
5 is probably Lawful Neutral.

Christmas (or the world's equivalent thereof) is here, and each of the remaining characters got what they really wanted. What did they get? (If you think abstract things like "going home" or "seeing their family" is giving too much away, substitute with something material.)

1) To be able to dance over a certain individual's grave.
2) The power to protect the country.
5) Guaranteed safety for the entire family.
6) "I'm good."
8) Peace.
9) To be the one loved.
10) Snow every night, forever. Just enough to block the roads.
