My Friend Holly's Knight in shining armour, left her side on Saturday afternoon.
He's gone.
My heart breaks into a million tiny pieces for her.
Andy died on Saturday of brain cancer.
Specifically, Glioma malignant brain cancer. It’s the most malignant, aggressive, rapidly growing of the tumor’s associated with the brain, with the shortest survival time. She has fought hard for him, Andy has undergone 3 surgeries, in the last 3 1/2years.
He was a survivor for 3 1/2 years. He was 41 years young.
I wish I could bring him back for her. Anything. I simply cannot imagine the amount of pain she must be in right now.
Unreal.
Funeral will be Sunday. :(
ps-- adding that I heard last Thurs was the worst night. Friday she was a wreck, tired, drained.
Saturday he was in worst pain. She cried and finally told him "go. I'll be okay".
I guess he was hanging on for her. He finally left her side, after hearing her say that.
aw man..... he was holding on, for her...they were truly an unbelievable couple.
