(no subject)
Its been a long ass time since my last update. I am now a 20 years old and on my way to legal drunkness...too bad after 20 I am on the downward slide to 30.
Christmas went fairly well. Ben joined my family for the holidays and I was rather excited to have him there. Ben even attended church with my family, which ended up being more like sweaty sardines in nice close packed into a gym listening to an Indian priest that no one could understand. Mass was followed up by a nice dinner and the exchange of gifts between Ben and my family. Ben throughouly suprised and delighted me with his gift. It was completely thoughtful and beautiful. I don't think I will be taking off the lovely chain (well maybe in the shower since I don't want to ruin it). Of course we also had to watch its a Wonderful Life for the hundreth time UGH...
The family, Ben and I all went to Maggiano's for my birthday and enjoyed some delicious Italian food. Did I stop eating when I was completely stuffed or forgo dessert? i think not. For some reason, our waitress after discovering it was my birthday, put a few candles in some cookies for me to blow out...she didn't even sing happy birthday, what a whore...hey waitress you are being kind of a bitch. I didn't even get to get drunk for my birthday cause I had to wake up at 5 the next morning.
My family and I had the trip from hell to Iowa to visit the grandparents... I will omit the details since I have told the story numerous times, and it is fairly boring.
Nothing else eventful has really occurred...the semester went by quickly and finals were stressful. Unfortunately I missed my Spanish final after showing up for my test on the wrong day WOOPS...thank god she is letting me make it up! Ben and I have been together for what seems like forever and I grow closer to him everyday. I am looking forward to next semester, but more so to its end and the beginning of the summer. Looks like I could possibly be working full time this summer which would give me some extra money...I might lose my mind in the process, but at least I will be getting paid for it.
Well i think my life has been throughly updated...I plan on getting smashed tomorrow night...Happy New Year!!!
