(no subject)
Well I am back from Mexico...I had a pretty good trip. The only downfall would have to be spending close to 16 hours in a shelter with about 3000 people when hurricane Emily hit. After the hurricane most amenities including the pool and many restaurants were closed. I am glad that before the hurricane we got a couple of good days of drinking and relaxing in the pool. It was great to be able to see Kait and just have a fun week with everyone.
So 2 days after I got back from Mexico I went to Wilmington with Ben. It was a great trip. We got to relax and my Nana tried to make us explode with all the food she offered us. Ben and I got to go to the beach which was a lot of fun. We both got pummeled with one huge wave which caused us to smash into the ocean floor. Ben suffered a small cut on his forehead from the rather large and powerful wave. My Nana and Grandpa basically spoiled us rotten and we certainly were able to catch up on some well needed sleep during some afternoon naps lol. It was great just to be able to spend some time away without the worries which awaited us at home.
Since I was in Athens today as a result of arriving there at 4 am from Wilmington, I paid my first months rent for my apartment. This may not sound exciting to most people, but to me it means that I only have 2 more weeks before I get to move in and be back in Athens and out of my house. I love my family, but after being home for so long I can't wait to get out of here. WOOHOO...the countdown to August 13th begins...Athens is certainly beckoning me.
