holy cow
got my audio input yesterday for my mac. now I can start really tryin to do something with Garageband.
So I'm sitting here... going through some of the loops to see what they have already programmed into this thing, and there's this drumbeat... I listen and I think, hmm, if I could slow that down just a touch, that would be PERFECT for "little wonder"
so I slow it down just a touch, find a second drum loop for the chorus that just fits fantastically... and with some time and effort (but not too much of either, this software is so easy to use) I'll soon have a recording of this song with drums, acoustic guitar, lead guitar, vocals... I should be able to get a Bass line into there and then I'll have to see if there are any other cool loops that will help fill it out (used sparingly of course). I'm thinking a little bit of strings section for the bridge maybe.
