Honing...what a great concept.
For years we have refered to all rounds of golf that occur before the extravaganza each year as just tuning up for it. Or simply as "tuning." Well, as we get closer and closer to the third ever decathlon which is coming in late June...my roommate Tim and I have decided to now partake in what we call "honing." Where we practice the Decathlon events as best we can. It has been a lot of fun. I beat him 2 out of 3 in around the world. He out field goal kicked me by 10 yards. I would say he had the edge in our home run derby. I beat him in billiards. And he as usual beat me in 12 straight games of air hockey, which if you add in games from before he lived with my, prolly gives him about 30 straight wins against me. A streak which finally came to an end with me beating him not once, but twice in a row at the end of the last time we played. It gives me a lil confidence heading into an opportunity to achieve possibly two of my life goals. Go me.
