Had a "screening interview" with Greece CSD last Monday. Thought it went well, but their HS opening was "anticipated", as opposed to a MS opening they were filling. I haven't received a call back yet.
Got a call back for an interivew at Manchester-Shortsville next Tuesday. It's not the side of Rochester I'd prefer to be on, but it's a helluva lot closer than Squirrelville. The administrative assistant that called suggested that I may be asked to come back and teach a lesson later next week. That could be interesting.
Still have a slew of other resumes outstanding (6 methinks), that on which I've gotten little more than acknowledgement of receipt. On the bright side, I have received ZERO rejection letters. Starting to chomp at the bit though, as I'm required to give 30 days notice to Snorwich. Calendar is to my advantage this year, with Labor Day being late. First day of school is September 7, which means I could be hired as late as August 8, and not have to begin classes there.
Anyway, keep those positive thoughts, wishes and karma coming.
Off to Denver tomorrow for my final APO National Bored Meeting. Got my report done early (for me, anyway) for a change, and have everyone else's reports printed also. Probably a product of having fewer distractions at
Merina888's place, than at my own, plus she's gone from 8:30am-3pm, as she works at the day camp. Although, I'll take some credit for being more self-disciplined, as historically, given the choice between goofing around and performing drudgerous necessary tasks, I usually choose the former. My Heart's Delight must be having a positive influence.
