And the winner is...
Haven't posted much as I've been very busy recently, but merina888 and I got good news today. She had an ultrasound, and according to the sonographer, everything appears to be normal (scary idea considering I'm the father!). And this just in: the Y-Boys won the Amazing Race! So, we are expecting a baby boy in July. Hopefully, things will continue to go as expected, and with any luck, we'll have a healthy and happy baby during the summer.
Merina888 is bemoaning the idea that this will increase the testosterone level in the house. I gently tried to remind her that our male cats have no testosterone, since they've been neutered, but that appeared to be of little solace to her. She felt a little better after realizing that she wouldn't have to compete with anyone for the title of 'Princess' or 'Queen.' She is, of course, the Queen, without competition.
