This weekend was rather busy. Friday I worked right after class and then we got ready for Lindsey's surprise party. She came home around six and we all hung out for a time after that and at some point in the evening we watched the incredibles with a full living room:) It was nice to have a bunch of people over the house. I was tired, so went to bed, but then i had ot get up and work out, had our house meeting, and then went to work at one til 9:30. After that I tried to do some homework, didn't work out too well, and then went to bed, because again, still tired. then there was church on sunday and time with lindsey and her parents, and then i tried to do my homework, but i couldn't get all of it done. I still have so much reading to do, but it will all work out.
I had a work meeting yesterday, and yes, i can't have my piercings anymore and we have to all watch how we dress and talk i guess. I am looking for another job, because I don't get any hours anyway. I can't live off of this stuff. But God has already given me a dream and word for a new job and blessings, so let's pray that into the natural:)
I guess today we are having another meeting to address some things going on in the house that isn't working out for me and some of the others. I need to basically just do my reading tonight....and then get up early tomorrow morning to work out and be able to get to class at eight.
I am definately going to go to home group on Sunday...Steve said that God is going to do something great...probably many things...I dunno, something big is going to happen, and I guess a few people from Dutch Sheets and up north are coming as well. I think there will be a great movement on Sunday...yay God!
Tomorrow we have worship band practice, yay! I am so excited, I have missed it so much! I miss singing with my friends...plus worship is a large part of my heart. The Spirit does such great things during out worship. I just pray that He moves greatly this week.
And in conclusion, I wish I knew what some people thought, because it would make things so much easier. oh well,
Jungle Gym
I've never turned myself upside down before,
but I fancied myself a teeter-totter the other day.
Except my totter went out, so there I was,
my head where my feet should have been
walking forward.
I could feel myself in the process of the teeter, I knew how much
of a jungle had grown in my
surroundings, with not a gym
in sight; yet I still expected the totter.
Apparently, life doesn't care whether
totter comes after teeter, it's all the same.
But don't think I remained in that state for long.
The main Lion came by and set me upright.
He likes me walking in a forward, upright path these days.
