I went to kennywood today with a couple friends. I got a little sunburned :-\. The first ride we went on, we weren't quite sure what it would be like. It turned out that it was a ride that involved a lot of spinning/going high in the air/coming really close to the ground while spinning and going pretty fast. I get dizzy easily so that wasn't that much fun. The next ride my friends wanted to go on involved a bunch of spinning also and being upside down at points and stuff so I refused to go on it. It also involved getting wet. Then we all went on another ride that involved us all getting soaking wet with cold water. The initial coldness of it was a little bit uncomfortable but after that it actually felt pretty nice because it was hot out. Then we went on an indoor rollar coaster type thing that at one point involved the car to do a lot of spinning which made me quite queasy. :( Luckily the line for the next ride we went on was long enough, my stomach had time to settle. We went on some fast rollar coaster... the phantom something. That was fun, but it had some really small hills in succession while you going pretty fast so as you started to go down the small hill you slightly came out of your seat and then you hit bottom so you crash back down in your seat and that made my neck a little sore. Then the 4 people I was with were about to go on a ride call the "Pitt Fall" (I refused to go on it). That ride is a tower with a thing on each side that brings people to the top and then they free fall for a little while and then it stops them before they hit the ground. As we were waiting in line, they attempted to run it. I could only see two of the 4 sides (I'm not sure if they were running all 4 sides or just the two sides I could see). Those 2 sides start to go up the tower. One of them stops about 10 - 15 feet in the air while the other one continues to the top. And then they both just sit there (the one that had continued just sat all the way at the top with 4 people in it). The lady at the gate ran into the control booth and went on the phone with someone. Then she made us all leave the line and disperse from the ride. Sometime later we saw the ride was back in operation but I don't know how long those people were stuck at the top. Then we had some food and wandered around and stuff.
