Did I dream this?
I think I was awakened at 2:30 in the morning last night by the very loud fighting of my upstairs neighbor and his girlfriend. I remember the feeling of being startled awake. I remember hearing shouting, cursing, crying. I remember trying to make out the clock and see what time it was. I remember thinking, "God, they're always up so late" because they were up late the night before, too, walking their dog outside my window and talking far too loudly for 1:30 am.
But I also remember dreams from last night in which this story played a prominent role. I can't tell now if the fighting actually happened (I've heard lesser fights from above me previously, too) and I then incorporated it into my dream or if it was all a part of my dream.
It's weird not being able to tell where reality lies.
