I wrote a few days ago about wanting to name my bike. Well, I tried out several different names on the bike as I rode it around Arlington, but none felt right. Then, yesterday, I rode over to one of UTA's administrative buildings to have a key made. I chained my bike up to a lightpost outside (no bike rack = bad UTA) and went in. When I came back out, I saw my bike and it just looked like a Frank.
piezocuttlefish seemed to think this process was weird, but it isn't unprecedented. I named my laptop and my truck through the same process. I interacted with them each for a little while and then a name suggested itself and just felt right.
Hell, maybe I am crazy for thinking this makes sense, but it works for me.
