I feel as if we've lost our touch
Leaving has just been too much
I don't know what to say
Maybe I can wait just one more day
To hold you close to me
To sit with you in that old oak tree
To kiss you softly on the lips
And hold you gently by your hips
To stroke your soft brown hair
Forever falling, endlessly into your stare
To comfort you when you are down
And let your grin replace what once was a frown
You flash me that breathtaking smile
And in that moment I would walk 1,000 miles
To a completely whole new land
Just to be able to touch your hand
Your fingers coil round' mine
Gripped together like a piece of twine
Your hands; so soft, are stopping time
