drive home

Aug 18, 2005 06:54

everyday i drive home from work (this is a pretty normal occurance)

each day, i almost always pass a age approx. 16 years, smoking a cigarette, reading a book, wearing a navy hoodie.

then i go around the bend and pass the guy on the bicicle with the back pack.

past the bend is the woman walking a dog.

then my house.

today it was slightly different.

approximately a block before where the smoking usually is, something runs accross the road.

to my surprize, it is not a cat, dog, squirel, rat, mouse, or raccoon...

it is a rooster. a black rooster.

then as i approach my house. there is a man washing his car at 6am...

i am going to bed soon.

i have had all the excitement i can handle.
