(no subject)
Quick update, because it's been far too long.
I went home Monday night to get the car, so I could have it on campus for a few days and not have to be picked up to get home for Thnaksgiving. I slept at home since I don't have classes on Tuesdays. I went to start the car in the morning and found that the battery was dead. I called AAA and they came within 15 minutes - I love them. I took the car to Kelly's for a oil change and refilling of any other fluids. The car wash was closed, which was kind of annoying, because my windows were dusty. I drove back to school. I stopped at the Shell right near school to wash my windows. I decided to be nice and buy something. The guy working hit on me and then ripped me off, and gave me change that was $5 short. I didn't notice until I got back to school. I'm an idiot. Oh well.
I don't remember what I did after that. Later that night, I gave Kristian a ride to a store on Main Street. Then we went to Moody Street and got Indian food. We brought the left overs back to his suite and Ernest ate them. Jason and his girlfriend were over. Ernest and I fell asleep on Kristian's bed.
I woke up around 7:00 am and went back to my room and went to sleep. I woke up at 9:15, and realized that I was late for Environmental. So I went back to sleep. I slept through Sociology and American Literature as well. Such a slacker, I know. Apparently, most people weren't at classes, but travelling home, anyway, so I probably didn't miss too much - I hope.
Kristian and I went to Boston for the afternoon. We walked around places I'd been, and some places I'd never seen. We stopped in a hemp store and an Indian store that does Henna and ate at Sbarro. We walked to the water and looked at the planes taking off. I've never driven in Boston before - I had gotten us there okay, but I got a little detoured on the way back. I got back to campus in time for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but the gym was locked and class was cancelled. So instead, I hung out with Kristian for a half hour or so until his father and brother picked him up. I packed some clothes and cleaned the room a little and eventually decided to drive home.
Thursday, I met John Riley and Taylor at John's house. We drove to the LaSalle vs. EP game in East Providence. I saw lots of people. Then went for Thanksgiving dinner in Bristol at 1.
Friday, I did work in the morning, and then went to Justin's house to meet Biszko, Matt, Andy Lonardo, and Rob Ulmschneider to go to dinner for Mattie's birthday. It was a good evening.
Saturday, I ran errands and then went to the Turkey Open at BFC. The fencing was good; mine wasn't. Isaac won men's sabre and beat Evan. I was going to do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Ben and Tim, but Ben had to go out with his family. I dropped the car off at school and my mother drove me home.
Sunday, I tried to do school work. I'll be heading back to school soon.
