Wow. Just...fucking wow. I love everything about this. Everything about it is just right: the internal Jack stuff, the bad luck they all have now that they've left the island, the nature of Jack and Sawyer's relationship. Everything about this is just perfect.

What is it about post-'Through the Looking Glass' fic that hurts so bad, but is just so damn good.

I loved all the bits and pieces put together - each one is as poignant, if not more so, than the last, and it all just flows beautifully. Each part is also more painful than the last, so when I finished, I almost felt like I had the wind knocked out of me. Just amazing.

This is beautiful and sad, and the way you've written it is just perfectly. I kind of love the idea of all of them thinking they're bad luck, especially the way Jack is convinced he's bad luck, except...he's not, really, is he? He can't even make that work for him.

Ya know,if I really think about this fic, none of it really works because they're all magnets for bad luck or bad karma or whatever. I was trying fesperately to figure out what would make Jack want to go back so much, and it's the only thing I could come up with, which of course means it's wrong!
