i was searching my inbox for an email, and this link, as well as older emails, came up. Gmail is fascinating in that sense, predawn hour as we wait for the sun to rise, the tea and coffee to steep/percolate, the tiny ferocious cat preening and the ocean, a stone's throw away, pending the rising sun in a cloudy autumn sky.
it's been over ten years and I'm adding this, editing my profile photo as a lot about me has changed, my core self as fluid as my existence and embodiment, growth and transformation, ambition, family, career, community, life, love - all of it and none of it at the same time.
i haven't read through anything yet but I'm sure some of this will be cringeworthy, some of it just familiar as being from and part of my ever evolving and growing self, my values and principles, and a gentleness, with the ferocity and intensity that has always been me.
