Finally, A J-O-B
So I never mentioned it to many folks for fear of jinxing myself, but I was offered a position with Community Behavioral Health within the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health as an Analyst of Continues Quality Improvement. That's a mouthful, but essentially I will be analyzing the large data sets from the surveys conducted by the City, and evaluating provider programs for their efficacy and fidelity to the models or objectives outlined in their proposals.
Last week I got a few phone calls following up on my references and checking my employment history, and on Monday of this week I got the call with my offer.
I am totally excited, and though its not HIV, it is the type of work I wanted on the level I wanted and I have a few ideas for my hopes of working with a few places in the community.
