I present to you, a pictoral comparison of the two phones..
This is to add to the previous long freaking post detailing the frustration I've been through with this.
A guy on the Cingular forums gave me an intersting thought.. (He's got a post count of over 18k, achieved the rank of "I AM a Cell Phone," and has been on the forums for over 2 years. He's well informed.)
He said that I should persue this, and gave me the model numbers of two Samsungs I should tell lock/line they should send me instead. November 1 switches Cingular off lock/line and onto a new insurance carrier.. And he's saying that the more he thinks about this, the more he's getting a bad feeling about lock/line right now.. That they might be just shoving off crappy hardware on Cingular customers since they won't have to deal with them in a couple weeks. He suggested I look into that concept known as Bait and Switch...
