You know that we were young, and this picture's old, but I still can hear you say, through the pounding of the rain..."
*sighs* I love Better than Ezra. Not kidding, they are an awesome band.
Feelin' all nostalgic like. Must be the weather...and the weird dreams.
Woke up last week, and distinctly thought of Deirdre, an old friend who moved to Portland, many many years ago...I hope she is well. She was in a very similar space to myself, at the time, and considering where I ended up, relationship wise, I can only hope she found her way.
then I thought of Gwen--which I think is the correct name for the girl I met at RHPS, a Long Time Ago...whom I'd really wanted to be a lot more *ahem* friendly with at the time, and things didn't pan out.
Things are surfacing...people places and things. It's interesting.
Waiting for FIRST LORD'S FURY to come out, and it's driving me mad. Also, working on reading shawn the Mortal Instruments books--he's a smidge into City of Bones, and loving it still. I dressed as Clary for Hallows. Woot!! Now to be gettin' more permanent Marks. That would be rad.
Partied with Kevin (of the Corp, not Shawn's sword student), and Phil, and eventually Kev's new girl type friend--she's super awesome, and I hope to get to know her better! LOVE IT! Naughty Scot just tapped--been having a good time the last few trips to Rock Bottom, to be sure. the Day of the Dead IPA has been my fave of the year, though, I think.
Didn't make it to Kearney Park this year, but that's ok. Work's busy, and Kristine has a friend in town this weekend.
Still haven't gotten back to Ireland's 32, but this will happen soon, methinks.
left foot still a little jacked from the spill I took so many weeks ago.
Housesitting for my sister during thanksgiving weekend. WOOT! This should be a blast.
the holidays are fast approaching...and I can still care far less than I am right now. Trust me.
tah!
PS: the boy hath moved...still unpacking the boxes, but at least the kitty guy has a new collar, which is spiked leather, so we KNOW he won't chew through it. ;)
