Yesterday
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away...
Not that I have any troubles at all. Yesterday was fantabulous. I went to CB with Cedra, Jess...ica and a new friend of mine that I met two nights ago who happened to be the driver. Our main mission was to go eat at the Secret Stash a hip and happenin' bollywood-ish hippie pizzaria, and wouldn't you know, it was closed. Everytime I have been up there to eat at this place it's closed. So then we walked to three other restauraunts that were full so we deleriously stumbled into the Brick Oven a delicious pizzaria where we FINALLY got some god damn food. Cedar and I split a lrg. vegetarian pizza: spinach, riccotta cheese, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and herbs...soooooo good! We ate the whole damn thing. Pizza and beer, can't go wrong with that. But, there were soooo many BEAUTIFUL people in CB this weekend. After all it is a holiday and there was a bizarre festival going on (as in an arts 'n' craft fair). After some tasty delectables Clay showed us girlies this place called Meridian or Long Lake in the back woods of the CB area...incredibly beautiful. Jess and Clay swam all the way across the lake (not too wide) to get this stranded canoe. It was kick ass, it had a peace sign on it's corner at the tip...fuck yeah. Sooo, there weren't any oars so we equiped ourselves with the only oars mother nature could provide...big sticks. We attempted to paddle for a while...not that easy so eventually we docked ourselves on the shore and headed home. Everyone took a nap and then we re-grouped and played a 4 hour game of Trivial Persuit...which I quit because I HATE that game and it takes too long. Fell asleep at 2:00 am. Fantabulous. And today is just as beautiful...I'm probly going to play soccer and do homework. YAY LONG WEEKENDS!!!!
