Deadly cars and burnt toast
What is it with this "I'm just going around the corner" thing with drivers?? You must know what I'm talking about. Perhaps you do it, too, without thinking.
There appears to be a rather common perception that if you are going to drive just around the corner for a short distance, that it is okay to jump into a fast thoroughfare, in front of fast moving vehicles, and drive 500m at 5mph to your turn. We had a close call tonight with such a driver. He made a really unwise move. If it weren't so late and I so tired, I'd give a proper whinging account.
But what the hell is up with that?? That could've ended quite tragically and those incidents happen too frequently....
