The Flailing Meat Show
My OR schedule keeps getting interesting as I approach the graduation date. I finally saw what I've been yearning for since 2005: an above knee amputation.
Seeing the exposed flesh reminded me of my childhood times when I accompanied my father in the local meat shops. The feeling was weird, at first I felt like hurling but as the operation progress, I became fascinated, especially when the surgeon used a power drill to puncture a hole on the thigh bone and finished it off with a handy medical saw.
I do have some pictures from the operation but I couldn't upload it for now since my phone hasn't been unlocked as of the moment.
