Last night, I had my duty in the hospital when something odd was in the air. I saw all of the personnel wearing masks. Even the Pediatric Ward staff were covered, which aroused my curiousity even further. I asked my Clinical Instructor what's happening. It turned out, this was the culprit- Meningococcemia. Four of the students were suspected to be infected since they made close contact with the child. We immediately bought mask for precaution. God, I love the medical profession...
